Consider this message a formal invitation to the first ever
(ya gotta love those acronyms!)
hosted by Dave Frost,
Kirby Turner and
Joe Hom.
(Note: This invite is not open to the general public.)
Since we've been working our butts off on our current customer
engagement, with little to no time off, we have the good fortune (depending on
how you look at it) of having a ton of extra vacation days and are therefore
taking a month off to go snowboarding in Whistler, British Columbia, at the end
of the year. And we want to take this opportunity to invite all you, our
dearest friends, to join us for a day, a weekend, a week or the entire time!
Just to get you juiced up, we want you all to know that
Whistler-Blackcomb has been consistently rated one of the top 5 ski resorts in
North America for as long as we can remember. Also, if that wasn't enough,
Whistler has the best 'après ski' and is 'the closest thing to heli-skiing
while wearing a lift pass' according to Maxim Magazine.
So now you're thinking, "Wait a minute, there's got to be some
catch." There's no catch, but there are some details.
WHEN: December 15th, 2001 to January 12th, 2002
WHY: If you have to ask you weren't paying attention
WHERE: We have a 800 sq ft one bedroom + loft condo in
Tyndall Stone Lodge in Whistler Village, right by the marketplace in the north
village, 8 minute walk to the lifts, and with all the usual accoutrements. Unit
amenities include private decks, highvaulted windows, queen size bed in the
master bedroom, 2 twin beds in the loft (complete bedroom overlooking the
living room) along with a queen size pullout couch, full laundry, cable TV VCR,
stereo/CD/tape player, full kitchen with basic food staples, 1 full bathroom.
Building amenities include an outdoor pool and hot tub and reserved underground
parking. You can see pictures and more details here:
http://www.alluradirect.com/cfdocs/PropertyDisplay.CFM?PropertyID=40.
COST: Lodging - $175 USD/night, split between the number
of people stay. We're limiting the number of people per night to 8 just to keep
it comfortable (however, everything is negotiable). Lift Tickets - $62 CDN/per
day if purchased at the Whistler Resort, ~$53 CDN if purchased at any 7eleven
on the way to Whistler. More info can be found at
http://www.whistler-blackcomb.com/home.asp.
If you want to learn to ride, cost are $100 CDN for lift pass, rentals and full
day lessons. (See latest currency
exchange rates.)
TO DO: Since we are trying to limiting the number of
people staying per night, we'd like to get a head count as soon as possible. If
at all possible, please speak to Dave,
Kirby or
Joe to lock in your dates.
